Position Description :

The Technology Quality Assurance Analyst assists in evaluation, testing and validation of technology systems, services and / or software.

Assesses service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards.

Responsible for developing and direct quality assurance procedures so that the company products meet internal and external standards, that includes, documenting issues and tracking status in designated systems, develops or participates in the development of solutions to resolve problems.

Including testing functionality and security of software applications and infrastructure supporting HICV.

Collaboratively with all Technology areas as well as stakeholders to create test cases validating application and system functionality based on requirements.

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Essential Duties & Task :

  • Writing, reviewing, and updating test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on functionality and requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure requirements are documented, understandable, accurate, and testable.
  • Execute and validate test plans and results.
  • Report and communicate defects / bugs when discovered.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure defects and bugs are resolved. 15%
  • Design and build automated and reusable tests cases and test sets against application requirements and expected functionality.
  • Work with team members to integrate automated tests and test results into CI-CD pipeline.
  • Report and provide updates on test status of user stories and projects.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure priorities, timelines, and deadlines are understood and items are being worked in proper order to meet expectations.
  • Provide insight into efficiencies and improvements which can be made within the software application, SDLC, CI-CD pipelines, or other areas within IT or HICV to help HICV reach their goals.

The incumbent is expected to perform other duties necessary for the effective operation of the :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.
  • Equivalent professional experience will be accepted in lieu of Skills Required :
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • Software integration and / or other ESB experience are a must.
  • Experience in medium to large size implementations, working with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience delivering service-oriented and event-driven solutions
  • Background in agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of server, applications, network, and systems
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Competency of languages and libraries relevant to this role.
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision, prioritizing and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt in fast paced work environment.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven experience as a Senior / Lead QA.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts over CI / CD.
  • Strong expertise in test automation framework and automation testing, with fluency in automation testing principles.
  • Proficient in test automation frameworks Cypress, Robot Framework, Selenium Webdriver.
  • Ability to build API test automation using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, Swagger, Saucelabs.
  • Comfortable working with SQL for data validation and manipulation.
  • Monitor and report on QA metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process by identifying areas for automation, implementing new tools and techniques, and streamlining workflows.
  • Monitor and report on QA metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
