Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop Apex integrations : REST / SOAP callouts, Named Credentials, External Services.
Utilize various mechanisms such as but not limited to External Objects via Salesforce Connect, middleware to get live SAP data into Salesforce.
Implement realtime sync with Platform Events and Change Data Capture.
Develop Batch & Scheduled Apex for bulk data ingestion and transformation.
Collaborate with Admins on data model, security, and metadata deployments.
Experience in Data Migration activities for big projects. Should have ability to design the approach, learn and adapt to new tools as needed.
Should be proactive and self-driven in collaborating with other teams and implement solutions as needed.
Should have strong communication skills.

MustHave Skills

Apex Development : Triggers, Batch & Scheduled Apex, Unit Testing.

Integration Patterns : REST / SOAP callouts, Named Credentials, External Services (OpenAPI).

Middleware : SAP Integration Suite (Preferred), MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.

RealTime Patterns : Platform Events, Change Data Capture.

External Data : Salesforce Connect, External Objects.

Data Processing : Mapping, transformation, error handling.

CI / CD Fundamentals : Code reviews, version control.

Good to Have

Prior experience with on integrations between SAP and Salesforce is preferred.

Deep understanding of data sharing & visibility (sharing rules, Apex sharing).

Handson with Copado or Similar.

Experience with SAP Integration Suite
