About Us
We are a rapidly growing firm specialising in UK accounting, taxation, and compliance services. We provide accounting, tax returns, VAT filings, payroll, and Companies House submissions for individuals and businesses across the UK.
This role presents an opportunity to lead, build, and grow the accountancy division of our firm.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can manage UK client accounts, lead a team, and drive operational growth. This position will play a pivotal role in our expansion, and as we scale, the successful candidate will take on increasing leadership responsibilities, potentially leading to a UK relocation opportunity in the future.
Key Responsibilities
UK Accounting & Compliance
Prepare year-end accounts and Corporation Tax (CT600) filings for UK businesses
Process VAT returns in compliance with UK VAT regulations
Oversee UK payroll processing, PAYE filings, and National Insurance contributions
Manage Companies House filings, including Confirmation Statements, Director updates, and Annual Accounts
Leadership & Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage a growing accounting team as the business expands
Develop internal processes and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency
Act as the primary point of contact for UK-based clients, ensuring excellent client service
Technology & Efficiency
Work with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and FreeAgent to manage client accounts
Implement automated processes to streamline reporting, VAT filings, and compliance tasks
Continuously improve accounting workflows to increase accuracy and efficiency
Growth & Strategic Expansion
Play a key role in scaling our accountancy services division
Provide insights on business strategy, pricing, and operational improvements
Potential future relocation to the UK, subject to performance and company needs
Who We're Looking For
✅ Experience : At least 5+ years in UK accounting and taxation
✅ Qualifications : ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification
✅ UK Tax Knowledge : Hands-on experience in Corporation Tax (CT600), VAT returns, and PAYE submissions
✅ Software Proficiency : Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Taxfiler or FreeAgent
✅ Leadership Skills : Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage a team
✅ Strong English Communication : Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
✅ Adaptability : Open to occasional travel to the UK and Jordan offices
