We are seeking a dynamic social media & PR Manager to enhance our digital presence and strengthen brand visibility across all markets.
Job Summary
The Social Media & PR Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Ajmal’s social media and public relations strategies. This role involves enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, managing media relations, coordinating influencer collaborations, and ensuring consistent brand communication across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.
- Plan, create, and publish high-quality content (posts, reels, stories, campaigns) across all platforms – Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter / X, LinkedIn, etc.
- Manage social media calendars and ensure timely execution.
- Track and analyze social media insights, trends, and performance metrics to optimize engagement.
- Coordinate with the creative and design teams for visuals, videos, and campaign assets.
- Monitor competition and industry trends to implement best practices.
Public Relations
Develop PR strategies to strengthen Ajmal’s brand presence and reputation.Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and bloggers.Draft press releases, media pitches, event briefs, and editorial content.Manage brand collaborations, interviews, public appearances, and press events.Monitor media coverage and prepare monthly PR performance reports.Influencer Marketing
Identify, engage, and manage influencer partnerships relevant to the fragrance and luxury industry.Negotiate contracts and deliverables with influencers and content creators.Track influencer content performance and ensure alignment with brand messaging.Campaign Execution
Plan and execute digital campaigns for product launches, events, and brand promotions.Work closely with the marketing and product teams to integrate PR and social media strategies with overall marketing objectives.Crisis Management
Monitor online conversations and manage brand reputation across digital platforms.Handle negative reviews, online concerns, or PR issues with professionalism.Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.4–7 years of experience in social media management, PR, or digital marketing (preferably in beauty, luxury, or FMCG).Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.Hands-on experience with social media tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.Creative mindset with strong aesthetic sense for visuals and branding.Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage deadlines.Strong networking and relationship-building skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Middle East / GCC markets.Prior experience in perfume, fashion, cosmetics, or luxury lifestyle brands.Knowledge of Arabic (added advantage).Key Competencies
