Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Node.js Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend infrastructure powering our apps. You'll be responsible for end-to-end service ownership, close collaboration with our founder / designers, and shaping our technical direction.

Your Key Responsibilities < / p

  • Design and implement high-quality backend architecture and microservices
  • Develop secure, well-documented APIs and data models
  • Set up and manage cloud infrastructure, servers, EC2, S3, networking, CI / CD
  • Create AI workflows, image-based identification, AI chat with production pipelines
  • Select the tech stack and lead key architectural decisions
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and cost; monitor and debug in production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product requirements into technical specs
  • Deploy on AWS / GCP and manage cloud resources effectively
  • Contribute to hiring and team building

Requirements < / p

  • Minimum 3 years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js and production systems
  • Solid understanding of cloud DevOps : AWS EC2, S3, IAM, basic networking, observability
  • Understanding of databases (MongoDB or relational) and schema / design trade-offs
  • Familiarity with service design principles, APIs, and mobile-app backends
  • Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills
  • Nice to have Java experience, GCP / AWS exposure, prior freelancing / startup experience
