Role Overview
The Placements Lead will spearhead NavGurukul's student placement efforts across residential campuses. This role requires a seasoned professional who can establish strong corporate partnerships, ensure students secure the best possible opportunities, and uphold NavGurukul's high placement record.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead placement efforts across campuses and ensure high placement outcomes.
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with corporates, startups, and organizations.
- Secure strong career opportunities and best-in-class packages for students.
- Take full ownership of placement strategy, execution, and reporting.
- Represent NavGurukul externally and act as the primary point of contact for employers.
- Guide and mentor the placement team to deliver results.
- Drive high placement outcomes across programs, ensuring students secure strong and sustainable career opportunities.
- Build and expand employer networks, turning partnerships with corporates, startups, and aligned organizations into recurring hiring pipelines .
- Negotiate and secure opportunities that balance industry standards with the potential and aspirations of students.
- Design and scale placement systems for outreach, shortlisting, and reporting, ensuring consistency and transparency.
- Represent NavGurukul with credibility, positioning students as work-ready talent and strengthening the organization's brand with employers.
- Develop and lead the placement team, setting clear targets, coaching regularly, and driving accountability for results.
- Use data to improve outcomes, tracking offers and conversions, analyzing trends, and refining strategy continuously.
- Work closely with academic and student support teams to ensure student readiness matches employer expectations.
- Deliver a seamless employer experience, managing every stage from first contact to offer release, and building long-term trust.

10+ years of experience in outreach, partnerships, placements, or related fields — experience with student or talent placement is a plus.Proven ability to build and sustain employer relationships , turning them into strong hiring outcomes.Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills , with confidence in engaging senior leaders.Comfort in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment , with the ability to build systems and processes from the ground up.Genuine interest in social impact , and a commitment to supporting student success.Compensation :
We are humbled by the interest of professionals who bring their expertise to NavGurukul's mission. Being a non-profit, our salary structures are often lower than those in corporate careers, which may mean a pay adjustment of around 60–80% from current compensation.
For this role, the compensation range is ₹9–12 LPA . The final offer will be based on your skills, experience, and how you progress through the hiring process. If you feel aligned with our mission and comfortable with this range, we would be delighted to explore the possibility of working together.
