We are looking for a Cinematographer who lives and breathes visual storytelling and can translate ideas into stunning cinematic experiences.
Role Overview
As a Cinematographer at SRV Media, you will be responsible for conceptualising and executing high-quality video content—from brand films, corporate videos, advertising campaigns, and product shoots to short-form social media content. You will collaborate closely with directors, creative strategists, producers, and editors to bring compelling stories to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cinematography for brand campaigns, commercials, corporate AVs, digital ads, interviews, event films, and social content
- Work closely with the creative & production team to understand project requirements and visual strategy
- Set up lighting, framing, angles, lenses, and camera movement to achieve desired visual aesthetics
- Operate professional cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, RED, etc.) and related equipment such as rigs, stabilisers, drones, gimbals
- Conduct location recce, shot planning, and preparation of visual storyboards / mood boards
- Maintain technical quality—exposure, focus, sound sync, colour accuracy
- Guide talent and crew during shoots to ensure efficiency and creative excellence
- Knowledge of colour grading for visual consistency (basic to intermediate level preferred)
- Manage and organise raw footage, equipment inventory, and shoot logistics when required
Required Skills & Experience
2–5 years of professional experience in Cinematography, Film Production, or similar creative rolesStrong understanding of camera operations, lenses, lighting, and on-set workflowsProven ability to shoot in studio and outdoor environmentsUnderstanding of framing, composition, typography, colour theory, visual rhythm, and pacingHands-on experience with equipment such as DSLR / Mirrorless cinema cameras, sliders, gimbals, drone operation (preferred)Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong creative mindset, attention to detail, and passion for film and storytellingA portfolio / reel showcasing cinematography work is mandatory
