Senior Associate - System Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for a System Engineer (2–6 yrs experience) with strong skills in Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, M365, Intune, and Microsoft Defender to support client environments and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Active Directory & M365

L2 support for on-prem AD, Azure Entra ID, and Entra Connect (SSO).

Administer M365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

Hybrid Exchange support, SPF / DKIM / DNS configuration, eDiscovery.

PowerShell scripting for admin automation.

Servers, Networking & Security

Manage on-prem servers, LAN / WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.

Configure conditional access, compliance policies, and backup / DR plans.

Azure Administration

Manage subscriptions, VMs, storage, databases, and networks.

Implement access controls, encryption, and disaster recovery.

Automate tasks with PowerShell / Azure CLI.

Cloud Migration

Plan and execute on-prem → O365 / Azure migrations.

Tenant-to-tenant and hybrid migration troubleshooting.

Intune & Endpoint Management

Deploy / manage Intune policies (Windows, iOS, Android, macOS).

Configure enrollment, compliance, Autopilot, and app deployment.

Integrate Intune with other Microsoft services.

Microsoft Defender

Configure / manage Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and 365 Defender.

Respond to incidents using Defender portal / Security Center.

Support & Documentation

Monitor M365 / Azure performance, optimize environments.

Provide L2 troubleshooting & user support.

Maintain technical documentation and research new solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in CS / IT or related field.

2–6 yrs exp with AD, M365, Azure environments.

PowerShell scripting for automation.

Hands-on with Intune, Defender, and cloud migrations.

Strong knowledge of DNS, SPF, DKIM, conditional access.

Windows Server (2012 / 2016 / 2019) administration.

Excellent communication & troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Certifications :

Microsoft Certified : Enterprise Administrator Expert

Microsoft Certified : Security Administrator Associate

Microsoft Azure Administrator

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Management, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience coordinating IT or software projects.
• Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies, with working knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Smartsheet.
• Strong sense of ownership with bias toward action—you don’t wait to be told.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in status reporting and meeting facilitation.
• Ability to understand the software delivery lifecycle; prior exposure to QA / Dev / Cloud terms is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
