Network Design and Provisioning Engineer

EF&T is Telecommunications and ICT Services company a subsidiary of Australian based company Efiniti Telecommunications Services Ltd - a trusted name in the Telecommunications and ICT sector since 2006.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Design and Provisioning Engineer to join our growing telecommunications team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and provisioning network infrastructure to support voice, data, and internet services. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and service delivery teams to ensure high-quality, scalable network solutions that meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document network architecture for new and existing services.
• Provision, configure, and migrate network services and equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, access devices).
• Translate customer service orders into accurate and timely network configurations.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimise overall network performance, ensuring delivery in line with SLAs.
• Conduct testing, validation, feasibility studies, and capacity planning for network services and infrastructure upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and provisioning issues, escalating where necessary.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate service delivery and provisioning activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including diagrams, configuration records, reports, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects effectively within timelines.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance provisioning efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging networking technologies.
