Job description

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Implement and configure Apptio modules (TBM Studio, Cost Transparency, IT Planning, Cloudability, etc.) as per client requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial data, IT cost models, and business drivers.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes within Apptio.
  • Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and cost allocation models to provide financial transparency.
  • Support TBM (Technology Business Management) practices, ensuring accurate IT cost analysis and showback / chargeback models.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and provide end-user training and documentation.
  • Work closely with Finance, IT, and Business teams to align Apptio outputs with strategic and operational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apptio platform (Cost Transparency, IT Planning, Cloudability).
  • Good understanding of TBM methodology and IT financial management.
  • Expertise in data analysis, transformation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel, and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Good-to-Have Skills :

  • Experience integrating Apptio with ERP, ITSM, and cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Apptio certification(s).
