Senior PL-SQL Developer - Shell Scripting

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL / SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions for enterprise-grade applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
• Perform code debugging, performance tuning, and query optimization for high-volume databases.
• For Shell Scripting & Unix specialization :
• Create and maintain Unix Shell scripts for data processing and automation tasks.
• Work with Unix / Linux environments for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• For Oracle Forms & Reports specialization :
• Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Forms (10g / 11g / 12c) and Reports to meet business needs.
• Ensure seamless integration between forms, reports, and PL / SQL modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational Skills :
• Advanced PL / SQL expert-level coding, debugging, and optimization.
• Database Performance Tuning knowledge of AWR, TKPROF, and indexing strategies.
• Shell Scripting & Unix for automation, deployment, and production support.
• Oracle Forms & Reports strong experience with Forms (10g / 11g / 12c) and Reports development.
• Database Platforms : Oracle Database (11g / 12c / 19c).
• Version Control Systems : Git, SVN, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration :
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Oracle PL / SQL Developer or Oracle Forms & Reports Certification (preferred)
