Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Pirangut. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical products and systems, creating detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks software, and working closely with other engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met. Daily tasks include conducting feasibility studies, testing prototypes, and participating in design reviews to ensure the reliability and performance of the products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Desired Experience

2 to 5 years

Mandatory Skills and Competencies

Hands-on experience in designing Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and automation.

Expertise includes conceptualisation, 3D modelling, simulation, and the generation of manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

Job Description

• Independently designing and developing mechanical projects from concept to execution.
• Understand and interpret technical requirements provided by customers and translate them into functional designs.
• Selection of standard bought-out components such as bearings, electric motors, pneumatic actuators, linear actuators, ball screws, and other mechanical elements.
• Perform necessary engineering and mathematical calculations to validate and optimize designs.
• Evaluate design feasibility, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Able to meet project deadlines and targets efficiently, within defined cost and time constraints.
