Position : Purchase Officer

Our Clients, established in 1915 , is a veteran engineering manufacturer based in Ahmedabad & Vadodara, Gujarat. They design, fabricate and supply industrial equipment like fans & blowers, shell & tube heat exchangers, vacuum cleaning systems, pressure vessels and turnkey process machinery for sectors such as oil & gas, chemical, power and refineries. The company operates under international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME-U Stamp) and uses advanced design tools such as AutoCAD, Pro-E, HTRI and PV-Elite.

Key Responsibilities :

• Independently manage the purchase department, including procurement, vendor enquiries, negotiations, and PO processing in ERP.
• Prepare comparative statements (CSQ), finalize orders, and coordinate with Production / Design teams for requirement checks.
• Ensure timely release of POs (within one week), follow up for approvals, QAP, PI, datasheets, and monitor vendor delivery schedules.
• Maintain daily Material & Fund requirement sheets and ensure accurate purchase & sales bill accounting in ERP.
• Handle management instructions, reporting, and ad-hoc assignments with strong MS Office and communication skills.

Desired Candidate : Diploma in Mechanical engineering with 1-3 yrs of experience in related field.
