Play AI is on the hunt for an Android Engineer to build the companion app for our Mad Rims AI-powered smart glasses. As pioneers at the intersection of AI x consumer tech, we’re looking for someone who can craft fast, reliable, beautiful Android experiences that talk to Bluetooth wearables and real-time AI services. Your responsibilities :

• Own Android app architecture and UX end-to-end (Jetpack Compose, Material 3).
• Implement Bluetooth LE (GATT), device pairing, OTA triggers, and low-latency data flows.
• Build camera features (CameraX), audio I / O, foreground services, and offline resiliency (WorkManager).
• Integrate secure networking (Retrofit / OkHttp), analytics / crash reporting, and CI / CD.
• Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Firmware to ship high-quality releases.
