About Furbishy Furbishy Interiors is a bespoke interior design firm crafting deeply curated lifestyle driven interiors that blend timeless aesthetics with functional precision. Each project is conceptualized, detailed, and executed end-to-end with an in-house team.

The Junior Interior Designer will assist in transforming client briefs into refined design concepts, technical drawings, and flawless on-site execution. This role demands a balance of creative intuition, material knowledge, and practical coordination across design and production teams.

Key Responsibilities Support senior designers in concept creation, mood boards, and space planning .

Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings , joinery details, and interior layouts for execution.

Prepare 3D visualizations (SketchUp, Enscape, or equivalent) that accurately reflect design intent.

Coordinate with site teams for on-site carpentry, finishes, and custom furniture fabrication .

Conduct vendor sourcing, material selection , and quality checks for bespoke finishes.

Ensure design accuracy during execution —from shop drawings to installation.

Participate in client meetings, site visits, and snag-list resolutions with a solution-driven mindset.

Skills & Competencies Design :

Strong aesthetic sense; proficiency in spatial composition, material layering, and proportion.

Adept in concept ideation, color theory, and detailing luxury interiors. Being a people's person and understanding client's lifestyle.

Execution :

Understanding of joinery techniques , modular vs. custom carpentry, and fabrication processes.

Ability to read and translate technical drawings into on-ground execution .

Familiarity with work sequencing, vendor coordination, and BOQ preparation .

Technical Proficiency :

AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray / Lumion (mandatory)

MS Excel or project management tools for tracking deliverables

Understanding of MEP integration in design detailing

Ideal Candidate Has hands-on experience working with end-to-end residential luxury projects .

Displays strong attention to detail and thrives in a high-accountability, design-led environment .

Is collaborative, resourceful, and driven to learn the craft of bespoke interiors from concept to completion.
