Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Data Platform Administration & Monitoring :

  • Configuration, performance, and availability of Azure Fabric (e.g., OneLake)
  • Monitor resource utilization, data pipeline, uptime
  • Set up and manage alerts / diagnostics / health checks

Security | Access Control :

  • Manage user roles / permissions, data access policies
  • Implement / enforce data governance frameworks, including data masking and role-based access
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external data security standards

    • Data Integration / Pipeline Support :

  • Support / optimize data ingestion pipelines into OneLake
  • Troubleshoot data refresh and ETL / ELT failures
  • Collaborate with data engineers / IT / business to maintain reliable data flows

    • Workspace | Lifecycle Management :

  • Administer MS workspaces, manage BI assets (reports, datasets, semantic models)
  • Automate deployment and lifecycle processes for BI artifacts
  • Enforce metadata documentation and standardization

    • Performance Optimization / End-User Support :

  • Ensure reports, dashboards, and semantic models perform efficiently
  • Conduct routine usage analytics to optimize performance
  • Provide tier-2 support for BI users, resolve technical issues, and maintain documentation
