Job Summary
The role of IT Analyst for ERM Technologies with the team that will be working on the Country Risk Maps Application. The IT analyst shall utilize their domain knowledge and technical knowledge to implement technology solutions addressing the needs of business stakeholders.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of CRM processes and have a proven track record in leading and performing business analysis. The candidate should also have a good understanding of related technology applications which service the domain in addition to operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
Requirements solicitation from stakeholders / subject matter experts / end users.
Documenting the requirements in the form of user stories and writing acceptance criteria.
Mapping the As-Is Process and To-Be Process.
Analysing data to validate / challenge and refine requirements.
Partner with the technology team to ensure solution definition meets requirements.
Validating the design documents to ensure its accuracy.
Review (and / or test) the outcomes to ensure that the deliverables meet the quality requirements.
Ensure that regular updates are provided to the stakeholders.
Manage any key risks or issues identified with timely escalation as required.
Ensure adherence to the standards mandated by SCB for project analysis and delivery.
Requirements Analysis
Consistently capture requirements that are complete & unambiguous.
Accurately translate business requirements into functionality.
Consistently identify future states that address business problems.
Document traceability of existing to migrated system & document delta data mapping.
Analytical Thinking
Think ahead to anticipate potential obstacles and mitigate any risks.
Evaluate how changes in one area will have an impact on other areas.
Ability to connect ideas that are not obviously related.
Ability to looks at things from different perspectives and adds new insights.
Analyse complex data to validate / challenge and refine requirements.
Communication and Presentation :
Paraphrase and communicate key information to others, verbally or in writing.
Able to construct and make formal presentations and / or facilitate group activities.
Prepare high quality documentation that are clear and concise, have minimal errors or omissions.
Use a combination of direct and indirect influencing techniques, as appropriate, to ensure support.
Effectively apply skills and techniques of negotiating
Ability to understand other party's needs and agendas.
Use a variety of techniques to encourage contributions from all stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
Ensures stakeholders are aware of and committed to their responsibilities to the project.
Undertake stakeholder analysis and develop plans for managing relationships and expectations.
Comfortable in dealings with senior managers; can exert influence.
People & Talent
8+ years of experience as an Analyst working with business.
Experience of Agile / Scrum development methodologies
Experience with SQL databases.
Develop and sustain good relationships with stakeholders & colleagues.
Support faster delivery by enforcing the use of agile delivery tools.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good documentation and presentation skills.
