Hiring : Multimedia Storyteller (Punjabi)

Location : Remote / India / US, Canada-based freelancers welcome

Employment Type : Contract

India Abroad® , one of the most trusted and fastest-growing Indian American news brands, is hiring a Punjabi Multimedia Storyteller for its Punjabi edition.

Responsibilities

Create sharp daily news videos in Punjabi — from 60-second shorts to 10–15 minute explainers / features
Script, voice, edit, and perform on-camera anchoring
Package content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other digital platforms
Cover diaspora events, personalities, and trending stories visually
Maintain strong on-camera presence
Ensure quick turnaround of videos and news stories , meeting daily publishing deadlines

Requirements

Strong command of Punjabi (Gurmukhi)

Experience producing short-form and long-form digital videos

Clear voice, strong on-camera confidence, clean pronunciation

Ability to script, edit, and deliver videos quickly

Strong understanding of social media algorithms and audience engagement

Familiarity with Punjabi culture and diaspora issues is a plus
