Position Purpose
Local Finance – Financial Accounting & Reporting.
The role covers financial accounting and reporting for Banks India Branches.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Contributing to the annual Budget and Forecast exercise with major emphasis on Costs. Reviewing the cost and headcount budgets, sharing and liaising with the respective department heads
- Monitoring of the overall costs and revenue performance vis-à-vis the Budgets and analyzing the month-on-month variances
- Compiling India financials under Group norms for India Management
- Ensure that the client wise revenue reporting is done accurately.
- Timely preparation of Margin analysis by Products and deep dive for any variations observed
- Ensure all queries related to client revenue especially related to negative revenue, missing revenue, etc. are responded to / resolved promptly.
- Overseeing the Accounts Payable function, liaising with subsidiary PM team and other extended teams in shared services entity for smooth run of the process. Ensure completion of all the uploads and creation of the cost centre master file in time.
