Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with 6–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ABAP programming, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in working with complex business processes across multiple SAP modules. The consultant will collaborate closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces.

Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

Support and enhance existing SAP solutions by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and providing timely resolutions.

Collaborate with functional consultants in modules like SD, MM, FI, and PP for technical design and implementation.

Develop and optimize ABAP OO , ALV Reports , Smart Forms , Adobe Forms , and Enhancement Frameworks (BADI / BAPI / User Exits) .

Integrate SAP with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, and Web Services .

Ensure adherence to SAP development best practices and performance tuning techniques.

Participate in code reviews, peer testing, and documentation preparation.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when required.

Required Skills And Experience

6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development .

Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, RICEFW components, and Performance Tuning .

Experience with Smart Forms / Adobe Forms / SAP Scripts .

Sound understanding of BAPI, BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks .

Experience with OData services and SAP Gateway is a strong plus.

Exposure to S / 4HANA environment (Core Data Services (CDS), AMDP, and HANA views) is highly preferred.

Good knowledge of integration techniques between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
