Vice President / Assistant Vice President - Project Management

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced individual to lead our IT project management division. In this leadership role, you will oversee and manage all client-facing IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. You will have a direct impact on project cost management and gross margin optimization, working closely with clients to deliver successful outcomes and drive profitability. This is a strategic role that requires both technical expertise and exceptional leadership skills to manage a team of IT project managers and coordinate the delivery of complex IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the entire IT project lifecycle.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and delivering high-quality results that align with client goals and business objectives.
• Oversee the planning, budgeting, and financial management of all IT projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget, identifying areas for cost optimization and implementing strategies to minimize unnecessary expenses.
• Track project financials, providing regular cost updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work closely with senior leadership and project teams to maximize project profitability.
• Analyze project costs, identify opportunities to improve margins, and drive initiatives that positively impact gross margin without compromising quality or client satisfaction.
• Ensure successful delivery of IT projects on time, within scope, and according to agreed specifications.
• Monitor and manage project performance, resource allocation and timelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that meet both client and organizational standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT project managers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, ensuring that all project managers have the tools, resources, and training necessary to succeed.
• Provide guidance on best practices, risk management, and client communication.
• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery, cost, or client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans to minimize risks and ensure smooth project execution.
• Regularly communicate project status, financials, and any issues or changes to clients.
• Ensure transparency and maintain strong client relationships through consistent and proactive reporting
