Description :
The Appian Architect must have at least 8+ years of experience.
As the Appian Architect / Engineer, you will be the key member of the Information Technology team and will be responsible for leading design, implementation, driving technology innovation initiatives and provide technical support.
- Banking domain experience is a must. Pega experience is highly desirable.
- Researching, analyzing, designing, estimating, planning, proposing, and delivering Appian solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies
- Manage key stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product owners on translating business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap
- Work with IT Leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the existing landscape and future IT roadmap
- Be able to understand Pega implementation, codebase and be able to build similar functionalities in Appian
- Experience on CI / CD Pipelines, Deployment methods and Integrations with external Systems
- Experience on designing and building Appian Applications, meeting application Performance requirements
- Experience in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Knowledge on Automation Testing, Appian RPA, Java, API and AI capabilities
- Experience with public cloud platforms and application development platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, CGP, etc.)
- Actively monitor new and emerging technologies, trends, practices, and solutions and assess their applicability to business initiatives and strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
- Technical leadership : Guide the development team, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are followed.
- Solution design : Architect and design scalable, high-performance Appian solutions that meet business needs.
- Development : Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications, including process models, SAIL interfaces, and integrations.
- Requirements and collaboration : Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Integration : Implement and manage integrations with external systems using web services (SOAP / REST) and other standard technologies.
- Testing and troubleshooting : Conduct testing, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Documentation and process : Maintain project documentation and participate in Agile development processes.
