Roles and Responsibilities for Assistant / Associate Director in Residential Services (Girls Hostel).

The Incumbent shall be the principal authority in all matters relating to resident students welfare, their discipline as well as the administration and security of the Girls hostel.

Key Roles & Responsibilities : -

• Supervise all matters concerning the functioning of the hostel.
• Sanction or recommend leave in respect of wardens, mess and other staff of the hostel as per the university rules.
• Responsible for the health, hygiene, and general welfare of the students residing in the hostels that are specifically assigned to the concerned warden. She shall attend to all matters of health, sickness, diet, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with laid down orders / guidelines.
• Take part in the implementation of fire drills, and health & safety awareness initiatives.
• Respond to on-site emergencies during out-of-office hours.
• Manage discipline in the hostel in line with the University’s Disciplinary Procedures for Students and Codes of Conduct
