Position Title : Registrar

Location : Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur

Department : Administration

Reports To : Vice-Chancellor / Executive Director

Position Overview

The Registrar serves as the senior administrative officer responsible for the overall management of academic administration, statutory compliance, and records at the University. The role involves overseeing admissions, examinations, student services, and ensuring adherence to University Grants Commission (UGC), AICTE, PCI and other regulatory norms. The Registrar acts as a vital link between management, faculty, and students, ensuring smooth institutional operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee admissions, examinations, and academic record management.
  • Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate meetings of statutory bodies and implement university policies.
  • Maintain transparency, efficiency, and discipline in administrative processes.
  • Support the Vice-Chancellor and management in policy execution and institutional growth.

Qualification & Experience :

  • Master's degree with at least 55% marks (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of administrative experience in higher education, with 5 years in a senior role (Registrar / Deputy Registrar or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of university governance, regulations, and ERP systems.
  • Skills Required :

    Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and compliance management skills.
