Job description

Job Description – Pricefx Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements, pricing strategies, and workflows configured in the Pricefx platform.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for Pricefx modules (Quotes, Agreements, Promotions etc.).
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing on Pricefx implementations.
  • Validate price calculations, rules, and business logic configured in Pricefx against client requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy in integrations between Pricefx and external systems (ERP, SAP).
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to identify gaps and resolve defects.
  • Document and track defects in Jira, ensuring timely closure.
  • Prepare test data, test reports, and documents for stakeholders.
  • Support clients during UAT sessions and provide functional expertise in troubleshooting issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of QA / testing experience, with at least 1–2 years in Pricefx or other pricing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of pricing concepts, how the data flow in tables and Data sources.
  • Hands-on experience with Pricefx modules like Agreements, Quotes, Promotions.
  • Experience in functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing.
  • Familiarity with APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML) for integration testing.
  • Proficiency with test management tools (qTest).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile / Scrum environment.

    Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to test automation frameworks (Tosca, Postman for API testing).
  • Prior experience in CRM systems (SAP).
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
