Job Title : Performance Tester

Experience -5 to 10 years

Location : Bangalore

Job Type : Full-Time

Experience Level : [Junior / Mid-Level / Senior]

Reports to : QA Lead / Test Manager / Project Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Performance Tester to evaluate the responsiveness, stability, scalability, and speed of our applications under varying loads. You will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests using industry-standard tools, analyzing results, and recommending optimizations to ensure our systems meet performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform load, stress, soak, spike, and endurance testing.
  • Monitor performance metrics using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Neoload.
  • Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks in the application, server, or

database layers.

  • Work closely with developers, DevOps, and other QA teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Generate detailed test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous performance testing as part of CI / CD pipelines.
  • Evaluate new performance testing tools and frameworks.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in performance testing.
  • Strong experience with tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload, etc.
  • Familiarity with APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
  • Hands-on experience testing web applications, APIs, and databases.
  • Good understanding of HTTP, REST, WebSockets, TCP / IP, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
