Job Title : Sales Manager (ONLY FROM ALUMINIUM FORMWORK INDUSTRY)

Experience : 6+ years

Work Type : Full-Time, On-Site

Working Days & Hours : Monday to Saturday | 10 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PM

Location : Mumbai, Pune

Department : Sales & Marketing

Role description :

The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, and driving sales of aluminium formwork systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales within the construction sector and possess strong commercial, technical, and interpersonal skills.

This is a strategic and client-facing role that requires a deep understanding of construction processes, aluminium formwork applications, and sales cycle management.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify prospective clients including developers, contractors, and EPC companies
  • Actively generate leads through networking, site visits, cold calling, and participation in industry events
  • Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies aligned with company goals

2. Client Engagement

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their project needs and technical requirements
  • Present the features, benefits, and technical strengths of Manufacto’s aluminium formwork solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and technical submittals
  • 3. Proposal Management & Negotiation

  • Prepare and present detailed commercial proposals, BOQs, and quotations
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment conditions in alignment with company policies
  • Follow through on deal closures while maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics
  • 4. Internal Coordination & Project Handover

  • Liaise with the design, engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Support smooth transition from sale to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle
  • 5. Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and project pipelines using CRM tools
  • Provide regular updates, sales forecasts, and strategic insights to the senior management
  • Monitor competitor offerings, pricing trends, and industry developments to refine sales approach
  • Qualification and Skills :

    Educational Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • MBA in Marketing or Business Development is a plus Experience :
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in sales of construction equipment, aluminium formwork, or related civil infrastructure solutions
  • Skills & Attributes :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Technical understanding of aluminium formwork systems and construction methodologies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of regional targets
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and self-motivation
  • Other Requirements :

  • Willingness to travel frequently across project sites and client offices within the region.
