Role description :
The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, and driving sales of aluminium formwork systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales within the construction sector and possess strong commercial, technical, and interpersonal skills.
This is a strategic and client-facing role that requires a deep understanding of construction processes, aluminium formwork applications, and sales cycle management.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Lead Generation & Business Development
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify prospective clients including developers, contractors, and EPC companies
- Actively generate leads through networking, site visits, cold calling, and participation in industry events
- Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies aligned with company goals
2. Client Engagement
Engage with potential clients to understand their project needs and technical requirementsPresent the features, benefits, and technical strengths of Manufacto’s aluminium formwork solutionsCollaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and technical submittals3. Proposal Management & Negotiation
Prepare and present detailed commercial proposals, BOQs, and quotationsNegotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment conditions in alignment with company policiesFollow through on deal closures while maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics4. Internal Coordination & Project Handover
Liaise with the design, engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure successful project executionSupport smooth transition from sale to delivery, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle5. Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and project pipelines using CRM toolsProvide regular updates, sales forecasts, and strategic insights to the senior managementMonitor competitor offerings, pricing trends, and industry developments to refine sales approachQualification and Skills :
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalentMBA in Marketing or Business Development is a plus Experience :Minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in sales of construction equipment, aluminium formwork, or related civil infrastructure solutionsSkills & Attributes :
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilitiesTechnical understanding of aluminium formwork systems and construction methodologiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of regional targetsHigh levels of integrity, professionalism, and self-motivationOther Requirements :
