Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Data Analysts and Power BI Developers.
- Set clear performance metrics and foster a culture of insight ownership and excellence.
- Actively contribute to dashboard design, development, and optimization using Power BI.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation across multiple sources.
- Serve as the escalation point for advanced Power BI and SQL tasks.
- Lead and execute analytical projects across departmentsincluding sales, marketing, supply chain, product,
operations, and consumer analyticsto uncover actionable business insights.
Deliver compelling, visual, and data-rich narratives that influence strategic decisions.Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc. ) to gather business requirementsand translate them into technical solutions.
Present insights in a structured and business-friendly manner to senior leadership.Oversee the full lifecycle of dashboard / report development from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.Ensure high standards of data accuracy, report performance, and UI / UX best practices.Work with the Data Engineering Lead to define data layer needs for reporting and insights.Ensure consistency and quality of data across analytics outputs.Contribute to building the long-term roadmap for self-service BI and advanced analytics maturity. Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve turnaround Skills & Experience :6-10 years of experience in analytics or BI, with minimum 2 years in al eadership or team management capacity.Strong hands-on experience in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, publishing dashboards). Expert-level proficiency in SQL with ability to work across large and complex datasets.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Demonstrated experience leading analytics projects from end-to-end.Working knowledge of Python and statistical Qualifications :Experience in consumer-facing industries like retail, e-commerce, or D2C brands.Strong attention to detail and a passion for solving business problems with data.Experience in Advanced Analytics end-to-end project.(ref : hirist.tech)
