You’re joining us at an exciting time, working directly with Polaris School of Technology (PST) , a pioneering initiative by Classplus. PST is a cutting-edge tech school dedicated to shaping the next generation of tech talent in India. As part of this initiative, PST offers a unique 4-year Integrated B.Tech program in Computer Science, featuring a hands-on curriculum that immerses students in coding from day one. Our program operates from a corporate campus in Bengaluru, Whitefield, positioning students right in the heart of India’s tech scene.

You’ll work as a Senior Engineer, combining engineering ownership with real world mentorship to guide young developers and future engineers.

What will you do?

Own and develop scalable backend services and integrations using Node.js, Express.js, and microservices architecture

Work closely with frontend teams to build seamless, high-performance interfaces in React.js and Next.js

Design CI / CD pipelines and automate deployments using Docker, GCP, and Cloud Build / Jenkins

Optimize APIs, improve system performance, and enhance database efficiency

Guide junior developers and student developers through pair programming, code reviews, and project mentorship

Support and drive student-led capstone projects, ensuring solid engineering fundamentals and high-quality outcomes

Collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams to deliver robust platform features

Establish high engineering standards and best practices to improve developer velocity and code quality

You should apply if you

Have strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs and exposure to microservices

Have hands-on experience with Docker, cloud platforms (preferably GCP), and CI / CD automation

Are comfortable with frontend frameworks like React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript

Have a strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and problem-solving

Are passionate about mentoring and enjoy sharing knowledge through code reviews, design discussions, and teaching

Thrive in fast-paced startup environments and love solving complex engineering challenges

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields

Experience

3–5 years of professional experience in fullstack
