Main Purpose Of The Job

The Design Team Leader job's purpose is to manage the design production of the associated discipline..

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Acting as a technical referent related to his / her discipline
• Assuring design production related to his / her discipline in line with Client and project requirements and in accordance with schedule
• Checking or reviewing design documentation drafted by the team members
• Assuring an adequate coordination of the team members with other departments or other disciplines
• Attending design meetings and design control groups with the Client
• Assessing design strategies proposed by the Client and intervening in technical discussions, as required
• Reporting progress to the Design Project Manager and liaise with him for risks identification and management
• Alerting the Design Project Manager of any technical issue or delay in design production
