About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be a key player in the end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions for our clients.
Your deep expertise in US and India Payroll modules will be critical in guiding clients through their digital transformation, from initial requirement gathering to post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the functional implementation and support for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll modules, with a focus on US and India payroll.
- Conduct business process workshops, demos, and advise clients on best practices for adopting Oracle Cloud Payroll.
- Manage all project phases : requirement gathering, analysis, solution design, configuration, CRP, testing (SIT, UAT, Parallel), cutover, and production support.
- Design and document integration points between Payroll and other modules such as Absence Management, OTL, Benefits, and Oracle ERP Cloud (GL, PPM).
- Develop detailed functional specification documents for customizations and convey complex requirements, including Fast Formulas, to technical teams.
- Create test cases, lead functional testing efforts, and support clients during critical testing phases.
- Conduct "Train the Trainer" sessions and develop comprehensive functional user guides for end-users, clients, and administrators.
Required Qualifications & Experience (Must-Have) :
A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in a Payroll functional role, with specific expertise in US and India payroll.At least 4-6 years of hands-on experience specifically with Oracle HCM Cloud US Payroll.Proven track record of leading at least three (3) end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.Demonstrable experience integrating Payroll with Absence Management, OTL, Benefits, and Oracle ERP Cloud (General Ledger, PPM).Strong understanding of Fast Formulas and the ability to translate business needs for technical teams.Extensive experience in business process analysis, requirement definition, and solution design for Oracle HCM Cloud.Proficiency in creating functional specs, test cases, and supporting all testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel).Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have) :
Experience with additional Oracle HCM Cloud modules like Absence Management or OTL.Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal English).Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage scope and customer expectations effectively.(ref : hirist.tech)
