Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Mainframe Systems Programmer CICS to join our growing Mainframe team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess strong automation and system programming experience with a deep understanding of mainframe operations, CICS, and IBM automation tools. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support and maintain CICS regions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability.
• Perform installation, customization, configuration, and maintenance of mainframe automation tools such as CA-OPS / MVS, IBM System Automation for z / OS, and IBM Tivoli AFOPER.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts using Classic REXX and OPS REXX to streamline operational processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in multi-processor / multi-LPAR environments, ensuring system stability and uptime.
• Manage and optimize automation workflows across mainframe and distributed environments (AS400, UNIX, and Windows).
• Provide operational support for IBM NETVIEW and related mainframe infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes, upgrades, and new solutions in line with business requirements.
• Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and performance tuning activities.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, standard operating procedures, and change logs.
• Act as a key contributor to automation projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to Ensonos quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project leaders, and team members, providing updates and recommendations as needed.
