Qualifications
Master in Social Science or equivalent
07 years’ experience in Capacity Building and Knowledge of Organizations,
Excellent interpersonal relationships, group ease and interview skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist PMU / DIUs in preparation of annual work plan along with budget for each component;
- Assist PMU / DIUs in preparation of monthly, quarterly financial forecast, and other documents necessary for disbursement from JICA;
- Assist PMU / DIUs in procurement of services and material.
- Assist DIUs in preparation of Statement of Performance (SOP) and / or Statement of Expenditure (SoE) before periodic claims submission to JICA for reimbursement;
- To verify the expenditure reported by the DIU and consolidate in the prescribed format of JICA.
- Follow up with DIUs for submission of SOP and SOE on a monthly basis in time along with all supporting vouchers and documents
- Assist PMU in preparation of Statement of Performance (SOP) and / or Statement of Expenditure (SoE) before periodic claims submission to JICA for reimbursement;
- To assist in the preparation of JICA fund disbursement, expenditure and reimbursement claims periodically along with supporting documents.
- Preparation of information / report / road map etc. as per directions of Project Management Unit.
- Maintenance of accounts in computerised accounting system (e.g. Tally etc.)
- To provide training to all DIU staff for maintaining project accounting expenditure and receipts as per the JICA project norms
- To maintain grant ledgers and expenditure ledgers for the all the component budget heads.
- Follow up with the internal / external auditors of the project during the audit. Also assist in coordinating financial audit as required by the JICA.
- To prepare the audit query response for the queries raised by the auditors in course of time.
- To assist PMU to keep the record of the assets procured under the project
- To coordinate with CAG auditors during the course of audit. All records kept in full shape to produce before the auditor
- Preparation of MIS report monthly / quarterly for review of the PEC.
- Prepare presentations for the review meetings about financial and activity progress.
