About the Opportunity

We are hiring an experienced HVAC Designer on behalf of one of our esteemed clients in Chennai.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in HVAC design, system sizing, equipment selection,

and project execution for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed HVAC system designs including load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection.

Prepare HVAC layout drawings, schematics, and BOQs using AutoCAD / Revit MEP.

Collaborate with architects, structural, and electrical teams to ensure proper coordination of MEP services.

Conduct site visits for design validation and project execution support.

Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, and local building codes.

Review and approve vendor submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.

Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle — from concept to commissioning.

Maintain design quality, cost control, and project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC Design (preferably in the MEP consulting or contracting industry).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and MS Office.

Strong knowledge of HVAC load calculation, duct design, chilled water systems, and ventilation systems.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare design documentation independently.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
