Job Description – Project Manager (with BA & Scrum Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager

with a strong background in

Business Analysis and Scrum

to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring project success through effective planning, execution, and delivery. This role requires a balance of project management expertise, business analysis skills, and hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

Lead end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met.

Define and manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Own and drive cross-functional collaboration across Developers, QA, DevOps, clients, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and governance.

Business Analysis

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Support functional and UAT testing to ensure deliverables meet business expectations.

Maintain clear project documentation, including BRD, FRD, and change requests.

Agile / Scrum Leadership

Act as

Scrum Master

for Agile projects – facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

Manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and remove impediments to ensure smooth delivery.

Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on Scrum principles.

Stakeholder & Team Management

Act as a single point of contact for business, technical teams, and leadership.

Own and deliver comprehensive project reporting, including progress updates, risk & issue identification with mitigation strategies, and proactive communication of roadblocks to stakeholders and clients.

Build strong relationships across distributed / global teams.

Manage vendor interactions (if applicable).

Required Skills & Experience

7–10 years of experience

in Project Management with hands-on

Business Analysis

experience.

Strong background in handling

technical projects

(application development, integrations, cloud, or enterprise systems).

Proven experience in

Agile / Scrum methodologies ; Scrum Master experience is highly desirable.

Proficiency in

project management tools

such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.

Solid understanding of

SDLC, system architecture, APIs, data flows , and integration projects.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications : PMP, CSM, SAFe, or PRINCE2.

Experience with

SQL queries, reporting tools, or basic data analysis .

Exposure to

Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)

or

DevOps practices .

Experience in working with

US / Global teams

across time zones.
