Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Associates at DS Advocates located in Chennai. The Associates will be responsible for performing various Indirect Tax related work (GST & Customs) including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice. The role also involves maintaining client relations, assisting in court proceedings, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in handling GST compliance and advisory work (2-3 years)
• Prior experience in handling Customs advisory and department related work (2-3 years)
• Experience in Client Relations and Court Proceedings
• Knowledge of Indirect Tax laws
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Experience in the legal industry is a plus
• Qualification (CA. / Lawyer / semi-qualified CA / graduate)
