Who Were Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator with expertise in Kafka and RabbitMQ to manage, scale, and optimize messaging infrastructure in both on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science from a reputed institute

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and manage

Kafka

clusters (on-prem & cloud-native)

Administer RabbitMQ on UNIX / Cloud environments

Develop and manage Kafka connectors (JDBC, JMS, MQ, Elasticsearch, etc.)

Monitor performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot issues

Configure security (Kerberos, SSL), access lists, and cluster setups

Automate deployments using Docker, Jenkins, GitLab

Work closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA)

Participate in design reviews, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Must-Have Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience with

Kafka

and

RabbitMQ

Kafka architecture : brokers, zookeepers, schema registry, KSQL, REST Proxy

Strong knowledge of messaging middleware (JMS, STOMP, AMQP)

Kafka REST Proxy and stream processing platforms (e.g., AWS Kinesis, GCP Pub / Sub)

Linux (preferably RHEL), scripting (Python / Java), and automation (Ansible)

Shift flexibility & strong communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

Kubernetes & in-memory data systems

Exposure to cloud environments (AWS MQ)

Custom Kafka connector development

Familiarity with data ingestion and extraction techniques
