Job description

Location : : Contract.

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and optimize schemas, stored procedures, and functions in Oracle and Sybase.
  • Perform stored procedure migration across platforms during application modernization efforts.
  • Collaborate with Java development teams to ensure database and application layer compatibility.
  • Conduct query optimization and performance tuning for production and staging environments.
  • Support and validate replication strategies, backup policies, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues to improve stability and scalability.
  • Assist in database migration planning, upgrades, and version control.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong expertise in Oracle and Sybase (schema design, PL / SQL, T-SQL, and stored procedures).
  • Proven experience in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with migration projects and modernization initiatives involving legacy systems.
  • Experience working with Java developers on ORM frameworks and data layer integration.
  • Solid understanding of replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
