What will your role look like
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL / SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues through detailed application log analysis and SQL performance tuning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of production systems and minimize downtime.
- Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities following ITIL best practices.
- Drive root cause analysis and ensure long-term fixes for recurring issues.
- Provide support during EST timezone and ensure timely response to business-critical escalations.

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL / SQL development.Expertise in designing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.Demonstrated experience in application log analysis and debugging at database level.Deep understanding of production support processes aligned with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management).Strong analytical and communication skills with proactive problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and operate effectively in EST timezone.Good-to-have skills
Exposure to Unix / Linux shell scripting for automation of database tasks.Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience working with monitoring tools (e.G., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or similar).Knowledge of data migration or ETL tools.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
