Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused On-Site Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support
Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for end users across hardware, software, and
network-related issues. This role is critical in maintaining operational continuity, resolving incidents
efficiently, and ensuring a high standard of IT service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in Windows and Mac environments.
- Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
- Support endpoint security tools, antivirus, and data loss prevention policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the
system.
Assist with device migrations, imaging, and deployment of new hardware / software.Educate users on IT policies, process, best practices, and self-service tools.Collaborate with network, server, and application teams for escalated issues.Generate reports and summaries for recurring issues and service trends.Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate with procurement for replacements.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (orequivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.Proficiency in Windows OS, MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote support tools.Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow / Zohoetc).
Understanding of basic networking concepts and endpoint security protocols.
