Roles and Responsibilities :
Alumni Engagement & Programs
- Develop and implement comprehensive alumni engagement strategies aligned with the university’s mission.
- Organize reunions, networking events, alumni career development activities, and fundraising campaigns.
- Promote alumni participation in mentoring, guest lectures, panel discussions, and career services.
- Build recognition programs and annual alumni awards to celebrate distinguished alumni achievements.
Communication & Networking
Develop communication strategies through newsletters, alumni websites, and social media platforms.Maintain a robust alumni database with professional achievements, updated contacts, and segmented outreach.Facilitate career services opportunities for alumni through internships, placements, and professional development events.Alumni Advisory Board
Establish and manage an Alumni Advisory Board to provide strategic advice and promote engagement initiatives.Collaborate with board members to design innovative programs and expand alumni outreach.Collaboration & Strategic Partnerships
Partner with academic departments, student services, and faculty to involve alumni in academic and extracurricular activities.Build external partnerships with corporates, industries, and community leaders to create opportunities for collaboration and branding.Indira Information & Data Centre (Special Initiative) :
The Director will also set up and lead the Indira Information & Data Centre to serve as a central archive and analytics hub for alumni, industry, and admissions data.
Required Skills & Expertise :
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.Strong project management and organizational abilities.Proficiency in alumni management software, CRM systems, and digital engagement platforms.Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and align engagement strategies with institutional goals.Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.Innovative and creative approach to alumni and industry engagement.Educational Qualification :
Master's degree in business administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or an equivalent field from a recognized university.Additional certifications in Alumni Relations, Fundraising, or Event Management will be an added advantage.Experience :
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in alumni relations, fundraising, public relations, or related fields in higher education or non-profit organizations.Demonstrated success in managing alumni engagement programs, large-scale events, and donor cultivation.Strong background in database management, communication strategies, and event coordination.Prior to exposure to fundraising campaigns and corporate / alumni networking initiatives preferred.Age : 35 to 50 years
