Job description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager – Sourcing with strong expertise in the knitwear segment to join our team in Mumbai. The role requires someone who can lead end-to-end sourcing, build robust vendor networks, and drive efficiency in procurement while ensuring top-notch quality standards.

Industry Preferred : Retail, Apparel & Fashion

Location : Mumbai (Lower Parel)

What you’ll do :

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for knitwear categories
Identify and evaluate suppliers, conduct market research, and track industry trends
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing for maximum value
Build and manage strong supplier relationships ensuring continuity of supply
Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans
Drive cost optimization and efficiency in procurement processes
Travel to explore fabrics, vendor facilities, and production parameters
Solve challenges in product development, quality, and production

What we’re looking for :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA / certifications preferred)

7+ years of experience in sourcing / procurement, with proven exposure in knitwear sourcing and at least 5–6 years in a managerial role

Strong supplier management, negotiation, and contract management skills

Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
