The Sales Manager plays a critical role in leading the gym’s sales and operations, driving membership growth, delivering exceptional service, and managing a high-performing sales and support team. This position demands a dynamic individual with proven sales leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, fitness-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Drive daily and monthly membership sales with a clear focus on achieving 60+ memberships / month.
- Lead, coach, and monitor the sales team using performance metrics and sales KPIs.
- Implement Forge-based sales strategies to ensure consistent team productivity.
Membership Growth & Marketing
Identify and pursue prospects through local outreach, referrals, and digital marketing.Plan and execute promotions, events, and partnerships to drive lead generation.Conduct competitor analysis and adjust strategies to stay ahead of market trends.Client Experience & Wellness Integration
Deliver a premium onboarding and service experience for all members.Supervise and integrate wellness programs such as :Sports Fitness Drills (warm-up, games, cooldowns)Group Classes (Yoga, Zumba)Nutrition, Psychology & Physiotherapy servicesDrive engagement and measurable results through program participation.Operational Excellence
Oversee daily club operations, ensuring 100% SOP compliance and facility upkeep.Coordinate with the tech team to resolve software issues (Yoactive & Forge).Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment readiness.Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate records of leads, sales, and follow-ups in CRM.Prepare and share structured bi-weekly and monthly reports on :Lead Generation & ClosuresSales Performance & Membership TargetsAppointments & TrialsSession TrackingMarket Feedback & PromotionsTeam Collaboration
Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, fitness, and wellness teams for aligned execution.Collect and act on member feedback to improve services and drive retention.Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in sales or operations management (fitness, hospitality, or retail preferred).Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.Key Attributes
