About the Job

PetYosa’s mobile app is the core touchpoint for pet parents. While React Native is our primary framework, we need a Mobile Engineer with deep native expertise to extend functionality, optimize performance, and handle device-specific challenges.

If you love squeezing every millisecond out of mobile performance and bridging native SDKs into hybrid apps, this role is for you.

What you’ll own (Responsibilities)

  • Build and optimize native modules (Swift / Kotlin) for our React Native app.
  • Integrate third-party SDKs (payments, maps, push notifications).
  • Ensure app security, performance, and battery efficiency.
  • Work on device-specific features like GPS, biometrics, and background services.
  • Collaborate with QA to ship smooth releases across devices and OS versions.

Must-have

  • 3–5 years in iOS (Swift / Obj-C) or Android (Kotlin / Java) .
  • Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
  • Hands-on with app release cycles, App Store / Play Store submissions.
  • Experience building React Native bridges.

  • Published consumer apps with high ratings.
  • Performance tuning experience (rendering, memory management).
  • Exposure to BLE, GPS tracking, or IoT integrations.
