Job description

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Team Leader to manage our customer service and order processing team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in managing teams, improving productivity, ensuring timely order processing, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Language proficiency in Kannada, English, and Hindi is a must.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead, mentor, and guide team members to ensure performance and productivity.
  • Build and maintain a strong, committed, and motivated team with effective skill sets and vocabulary.
  • Ensure 90%+ employee retention through team engagement and a positive work environment.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the STEM order processing system with new features and functionalities.
  • Drive productivity and accuracy in order processing.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Handle escalations and provide timely and effective resolutions.
  • Ensure timely payment collections from dealers.
  • Monitor team activities and ensure adherence to organizational standards, including safety and communication protocols.
  • Provide regular feedback to staff to align performance with organizational goals.
  • Manage and present periodic reports to senior management.
  • Assist the manager in planning, organizing, and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate daily customer service operations including order management, sales processing, and payment tracking.
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role, preferably in customer service or order processing.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Proficiency : Kannada, English, and Hindi (mandatory).
  • Proficient in MS Office and order management systems.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver excellent service.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in the furniture / interior or manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
