Devops Engineer

Job descriptionGrow with our team to define, own, and be responsible for a part of the Tiger DevOps initiative. Conduct technical feasibility studies, tool evaluation, and implement DevOps best practices across an enterprise landscape. Utilize deep understanding of DevOps and software engineering best practices to influence design and implementation approaches and solutions. Effectively communicate products and best practices to both technical and leadership audiences through documentation, presentations, and verbal communications. Integrate and configure DevOps and CI / CD tooling. Advise on appropriate planning and management of staff, tools, and environments. Coach, guide, and mentor junior members of the team to help them scale up faster.Basic Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field. At least 3 years of experience with designing, planning, or executing software development practices. At least 3 Years of experience with systems administration and tool evaluation. Good understanding or willingness to learn DevOps and Agile development. Ability to pick up new technology on a new project quickly and become the expert.

- Exposure to work item tracking tools like Jira, source control tools like GitHub, and automation tooling like Jenkins and UrbanCode Deploy.
- Strong Jira, workflow, software development, process, and metrics mindset is a plus.
- Interest in software development metrics and dashboarding.
- Self-guided problem solver with trouble shooting skills.
- Ability to quickly become productive with development tools and methodologies.
- Attention to detail
- Able to identify and proactively resolve problems and promote a quality first mindset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
