Lead Windchill Infrastructure Engineer

Job descriptionManage user accounts, roles, and permissions. Monitor system health and performance metrics. Implement backup and recovery procedures. File server Management CAD and office workers Lead technical support for Windchill-related issues (server-side and client-side). Coordinate with CAD and PLM teams to resolve integration issues. Liaise with software vendors for escalated support and updates. Supervise and mentor Windchill system administrators. Allocate resources and manage workload distribution. Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions. Ensure system compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 12+ years of experience in Windchill system administration and infrastructure. Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill. Experience with server management (Windows / Linux), databases (Oracle / MS SQL), and network protocols. Familiarity with CAD integrations (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Leadership experience in managing technical Skills : Certifications in Windchill or related technologies. Experience with cloud-based deployments and virtualization (VMware, Azure). Understanding of DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
