As part of Walden Digital's growth, we are currently seeking for a highly skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Associate with 5 to 10 years of experience, specialising in the Order Management, Financials, and iProcurement modules. The ideal candidate will have a robust development background, with the ability to design, implement, and support custom solutions that enhance business operations. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the optimal performance of our Oracle EBS environment.

Working schedule :

Monday to Friday . Normal office hours. Please note : the working schedule is based on GMT time zone, as the role provides support to clients based in the UK and EU .

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customise, and maintain Oracle EBS modules, focusing primarily on Order Management, Financials, and iProcurement.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Oracle EBS framework.
  • Design, code, test, and deploy RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) and workflows.
  • Provide technical support for Oracle EBS issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration between business processes and technical solutions.
  • Participate in upgrades, patching, and performance-tuning activities to maintain system efficiency and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Adhere to best practices in software development and change management within the Oracle EBS environment.
  • Train and mentor junior technical staff as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant or Associate.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle EBS modules : Order Management, Financials, and iProcurement.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle development tools and technologies (PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, Workflow Builder, OAF).
  • Experience with RICEW components and custom development within Oracle EBS.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning.
  • Ability to analyse complex business processes and provide technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS upgrades, patching, and integration with third-party applications is desirable.
  • Desirable Attributes

  • Certification in Oracle EBS or related technologies.
  • Experience in Agile or other software development methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

    This position is based in India with remote working arrangements.
