Job Description

Required Skills / Experience7-10+ years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering. Expertise in one or more performance testing tools : JMeter is must and LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, k6 etc is a plus. Strong hands-on experience in APM tools : Perfmon, Dynatrace / AppDynamics / Splunk / Datadog. Strong experience in tuning application servers (WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss), JVM, DB (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server), caching, network and OS levels.

Strong scripting knowledge (Python / Shell / Groovy / Java / JavaScript).Deep understanding of HTTP, REST, WebSocket, microservices, cloud computing (AWS / Azure / GCP).Hands-on experience in distributed load generation, containerized load testing (Docker / Kubernetes).Experience with CI / CD and automation frameworks for continuous performance validation.Ability to interpret performance results, debug thread dumps, GC analysis, Heap / CPU profiling.

PreferredExperience with SRE / Chaos Engineering / Failover testing. Exposure to mobile performance testing. Knowledge on cloud native observability stacks (Open Telemetry).

Prior architect / tech lead experience . Soft Skills Strong communication, stakeholder handling and presentation skills.Ability to influence design decisions with performance-first mindset.Capability to lead, coach and build high performance testing engineering teams. Location Flexible (Hybrid / Remote depending on project).
