4PM is an independent, fast-growing digital news network focused on public-interest and impact journalism. We make new-age explainers with depth, clarity, and trust—scaling both long-form and shorts across YouTube, Instagram, and Shorts.

What you will own

• Edit long-form explainers, interviews, narrative journalism, and documentary-style pieces for YouTube
• Cut fast-turnaround reels, shorts, cold opens, punch-outs, and moments
• Build narrative arcs in the edit (tension, sequencing, pacing, emotional beats, cliffing)
• Collaborate with reporters / anchors to translate journalism → cinematic digital stories
• Sound design : SFX selection, pacing, music cue taste-setting
• Motion graphics (basic–intermediate) : lower thirds, infographics, maps, callouts
• Color, cleanup, delivery to broadcast-safe / output specs
• Maintain project hygiene : media management, pipelines, version control
